FlexGuard is a flexible anti-spam program which allows for the removal of spam on mail delivery engines. Through data acquired in an individual SMTP session, FlexGuard, based on predefined rules, employs a point calculation system to determine the appropriate action (accepting or rejecting mail) to be taken for each MTA. FlexGuard is an ideal product for companies operating large-scale mail servers and for network service providers.

Features

Protects increased loads on MTA in event of spam attack. Appropriate actions can be defined based on point calculation conditions for each user. Point calculation system allows for highly flexible removal of spam. Other than rejecting mail, session response delay, dispatch of warning message to system manager, and output to log can be selected as possible responses. Actions can be defined based on IP addresses, MAIL FROM and RCPT To patterns, and the number of times a certain mail is received. Uses very little memory. Fast operation Database management can also be done via command line.
